1. API Usage & Rate Limits
RetailCoder operates on a strictly "API-first" methodology. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our REST and GraphQL APIs for the sole purpose of operating your retail ecosystem. We do not enforce artificial rate limits to extract higher tier payments; however, to protect the stability of our multi-tenant cloud infrastructure, we enforce technical burst limits of 10,000 requests per minute per tenant.
Attempting to bypass these technical limits or using automated scripts to scrape our proprietary schemas will result in immediate API key revocation. We expect your engineering teams to implement exponential backoff protocols.
2. Data Ownership
Your data is unequivocally yours. RetailCoder acts solely as a data processor. We do not aggregate your sales data, inventory levels, or customer profiles to train machine learning models for other merchants. If you choose to terminate your relationship with RetailCoder, you are guaranteed a full, unencrypted JSON export of your double-entry ledger, product catalog, and fulfillment history.
3. Double-Entry Ledger SLA
RC:OMS relies on a strict double-entry ledger to guarantee inventory accuracy. We guarantee cryptographic consistency for every transaction recorded. In the highly unlikely event of a silent data corruption caused by a RetailCoder infrastructure failure, our engineering team commits to a 4-hour forensic audit and state recovery operation.
The "No-Oversell" Guarantee
If our OMS successfully acknowledges an API request allocating inventory (`status: 200 OK`), but subsequent system failure causes you to oversell that specific SKU, RetailCoder will refund the transaction fee associated with the fulfillment of that order.
4. Uptime Guarantees
We guarantee 99.99% uptime for core API endpoints (Order Creation, Inventory Checks). Scheduled maintenance is always announced 14 days in advance and is strictly performed during the lowest global traffic windows (typically 02:00 - 04:00 UTC).
5. Payment & Billing
We do not charge Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) taxes. You are billed purely on infrastructure utility (e.g., labels generated via RC:Ship) or flat-rate software licenses (e.g., RC:OMS base tier). Invoices are generated on the 1st of every month. Accounts past due by 15 days will have webhook payloads suspended.
6. Termination
You may terminate your usage of RetailCoder modules at any time via the admin dashboard. We require zero notice for self-serve tiers, and 30 days notice for Enterprise, dedicated-tenant deployments. We will maintain your ledger data in a "cold state" for 90 days post-termination before initiating a cryptographically secure wipe.
